“pardon our dust”

Last month my blog came up for renewal and I knew I wanted to make some big changes. I hadn’t been happy with how limited I felt using blogger to publish posts and edit formatting here. Ben is way more savvy about all things technology than I am so he helped me navigate the process of finding an alternative. A few weeks ago I made the switch to wordpress.org. It hasn’t been easy and there are still a lot of formatting things to update, but I didn’t want my blog to be down for much longer, so here it is!

Feel free to poke around the new space, it isn’t TOO different visually because I wanted to keep things simple. There are a few new features connecting this website to my social media accounts.

Please ignore any formatting issues like font differents as they are a work in process while we learn to use wordpress and figure out what didn’t transfer cleanly from blogger. However, please let me know if you have any trouble with links going to the right places, photos loading, etc This well help in our attempt to fix things quickly or at the very least get you to the information you were looking for! While you’re at it, leave me a comment here or shoot me a message with your preferred way of reading blogs…I use feedly but I am curious to see how others prefer to keep up with their favorite reads!

I am actually heading out of town later this week, my dear friend Liz and I are going on a girl’s weekend to Texas! I am pretty thrilled to trade in the rainy Oregon days for a dose of warm sun! And YES we will be going to Magnolia Market, which is what inspired this trip when we started planning over a year ago. Be sure to ollow me on Instagram to follow our adventures!

When I get back and settled in the next couple weeks I will do my best to finish updating this space and get rolling with some new featured posts as well!

Happy browsing, be back soon!
